Did you know that April is the Stress Awareness month?
Nowadays more than ever stress is a constant in most of every people's life. We stress about work, kids, health, vacations, and so on.
Sometimes even the most ordinary topic can cause us some stress.
And it’s super important to everybody to think about the negative effects of stress and how you can relieve some of that stress.
If you really think about it, sometimes we stress for the most stupid things and we should stop doing that. Stress does not only have negative effects on your health but also keep us from truly living our lives.
Obviously, we will always be exposed to stressful situations, but most of the times we can minimize the effect they have on us, for instance:
- You can stop overthinking everything negative that happens in your life.
- Talk to someone about what’s going on, this way you can get a fresh perspective.
- Something more practical when you’re feeling extra stressed it’s time to decompress: put a warm heat wrap around your neck and shoulders for 10 minutes, close your eyes and try to relax.
- Try meditation, it’s proven that a few minutes of meditation every day can help ease anxiety.
