About Public radio of Artsakh
Artsakh Radio and Television was established in 1988. The first program was aired on June 1, which is considered the birthday of Artsakh RTV. Radio and Television in the Nagorno-Karabakh Autonomous Region was established as part of a program to establish local television stations in the Autonomous Republics of the Soviet Union, which was delayed by Azerbaijan's policy toward the Armenian population in the region. In 1988, the dream of the people of Artsakh to have a television next to a regional radio with a history of about six decades came true.
