Beyoncé Pays Tribute to Victims of Police Brutality

Yesterday (July 7) Beyoncé took a moment on her Glasgow show to pay tribute to victims of police brutality.

Queen B asked the audience of her Formation World Tour concert to take a moment of silence while dozens of victims’ names were projected on the screen onstage.

Previously Beyoncé has already posted a letter on her website in response to the deaths of Alton Sterling and Philando Castile: “We are sick and tired of the killings of young men and women in our communities, (…) It is up to us to take a stand and demand that they 'stop killing us.'" She added, "While we pray for the families of Alton Sterling and Philando Castile, we will also pray for an end to this plague of injustice in our communities.“.
